Foes turned pals? King Khan-Ajay Devgn patches up

Once perceived to be sworn enemies, the stars amicably swapped rights to a couple of scripts recently

Going by this report, it seems the perceived enmity between Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan is long over. The latest is that the two have exchanged the rights to a couple of scripts, recently.

Not surprisingly, the common factor is Rohit Shetty, Devgn's director buddy who's making Chennai Express with SRK next year.
On December 9, HitList reported how SRK chose to do Chennai Express with Rohit, over Angoor, the remake rights of which eventually went to the director known for his action comedies like the
Golmaal series and the action flick Singham.
Now, buzz is that, the Chennai Express script had already been discussed with Devgn. "Since they've done so many movies together, it's but obvious that Ajay and Rohit would discuss ideas. And Chennai Express is one of them.

Back then, they had no fixed time to make it as after Bol Bachchan, Ajay would be busy with Son Of Sardar and Sajid Khan's next for Vashu Bhagnani to name some, while Rohit was committed to doing a film with SRK.
So during one of the conversations, Rohit wondered if it was okay with Ajay if he discussed Chennai Express with SRK, " recalls our source, adding that much to the surprise of everyone, the actor agreed.
Later on, when Rohit narrated the script of Chennai Express to SRK, the actor loved it and decided to do the action comedy instead of the remake of Angoor with the director.
SRK was even more surprised to know that his best friend Kajol's hubby had no problems if he did the movie.
"As an acknowledgment of Ajay's gesture to part with the script, SRK didn't see a big deal in letting the rights of Angoor remake go to him through Rohit, " reveals our source. The fate of the Angoor remake remains undecided as of now.
